CDs/DVDs in digipaks with linen or velvet covers for small run orders of 20 items or more
These hardback linen digipaks are available with full colour printing, however the base linen colours can affect the colour reproduction and we recommend the white or lighter shades if you need more accurate colours. Prints also tend to look best where the majority of the case is the plain linen material and logo text and image prints are then made on top often in plain black, rather than full colour backgrounds that then cover the lovely linen materials. The print resolution due to the textured materials also appears lower, so font sizes should be a bit larger than you would normally use on plain card. The fine linen materials provide the best print quality over the coarse or weft linens.
You can mix and match the linen colour for no additional charge, but please check stocks with us if you after specific colours as new stock can take around 8 weeks to manufacture if we don’t have enough stock in.

Quality of construction
The fabric work, craftsmanship and overall quality of build are very high, giving a really premium feel. The panels are completely rigid unlike a standard digipak and the quality impression is backed up by the weight of each hardback digipak, weighing 129g without a disc, in comparison to a standard printed card 4 page digipak at about 39g. The hidden magnetic seal for keeping the digipak closed is also a nice touch.
Adding booklets to the hardback digipaks
Standard size CD booklets can be glued to the inside left panel with either eight or twelve pages (however please deduct the back page from the total number of visible pages as this one is glued to the digipak). We do not recommend more than 12 pages as the thickness then starts to push the digipak open a bit and the weight of the other pages can put extra stress on the glued page. Order the booklet from our ‘add on’ tab in the navigation bar.
Printing on the fabric digipaks
We can now provide full colour UV LED printing (including white) on the linen and velvet digipak outer covers, however the printing tends to work best if it is just used for smaller logo or title areas, allowing the natural material colour to still show through on the majority of the pack. Most people tend to just go for a print on the front cover, however we can also print on the spines and rear cover if you wish, just add it under ‘digipack printing’
Dimensions
The hardback digipaks are slightly larger than a standard 4 page digipak or CD jewel case, measuring 146mm wide x 135mm deep and 12mm thick when closed and 301mm in width when full open.
Cellophane or shrink wrapping the hardback CD digipaks
If you would like your CDs in a clear wrap for a glossy protective finish that is ideal for retail environments or presentation purposes then please add £0.08+VAT per disc for either a shrink wrap or a cellophane resealable wrap.
Do you need a barcode?
If you will be selling your discs through a retail store then you will probably need to register a unique barcode for your release and apply it to the rear outer artwork of your product to make it possible for them to sell via their product barcode scanner.
In Europe we use the EAN 13 barcode system and in North America the UPC system is used. We can register an EAN 13 barcode for you and embed the barcode graphic within your disc packaging artwork. The only information that we will require from you will be the name of the band/artist and the title of the release, then just leave a suitable space in your artwork and we will register the barcode and add it to your artwork for you.

Have you considered NFC tag stickers?
If you would like customers to be able to tap your cassette tape, CD, USB, VHS or just about anything else on their Android or Apple phone to open up a web page, music video, specific Spotify artist page, album or track then just include NFC (Near Field Communication) tag stickers with your order and we can then apply them to your product.
These tags measure 19mm x 12mm in size, use an NTAG213 chip with clear PET and a strong adhesive back. They have a strong field for their size and are very durable.

How to place an order
An order can be created by selecting the required product options above and adding them to your order. If you have your audio and artwork files ready, you can upload them at this stage. This process will generate a quote, which will be emailed to you and our admin team. No payment is required at this point.
A member of our team will then be in touch, generally within 1-2 working days, to check your quote and artwork and discuss your order. Should you then wish to proceed, they will email you an invoice for payment before we start production.
If you wish to upload your files at a later date or have any issues uploading via our website, you can also send your files to us via WeTransfer.
